Back in Dawson's Junction things are going well for Clay Stanton and his buddy Cole Fenton on their new ranch until Cole gets an urgent wire from the distressed Katie Grantham over in Redrock. Hopping the first train to go to her rescue he leaves Clay to mind the ranch. But it ain't long before Clay's having some troubles of his own.

Very good read.I loved that seventh bullet gun that was given to Cole, and he unused its at the right time. Clay is a great character in the deadly gun series, but Cole is awesome. Clay and Cole are best friends. Clay is serious most times and Cole is the fun one.
Love gun play and humor in a great western book ? Well read this.

Cole is off to help his "lady love" Katie. Her father is extremely ill & there's a bad dude that Cole is going to have to take care of or he just might loose Katie. Meanwhile, Clay has his own snakes to kill back home & he will have to once again strap on his gun. So much for the fella's wanting to lead the life of a rancher.
Intense from beginning to end. Highly recommend this series to any western reader. You will not be sorry when you discover what a fine writer Dusty Moonlight is. Don't let the book covers mislead you...an outstanding series!
